We the People
Fueled by the fight against discrimination and segregation, the civil rights movement led to increased solidarity within communities of color worldwide. The movement gave birth to the feminist and gay liberation causes which also focused on obtaining equal treatment under the law. The records shed light on the issues affecting these communities and highlight the services provided by various organizations.
