Women Make History
New York City’s women have been speaking out, standing up, and making their voices heard for generations. They have forced open the doors of government to demand a seat at the table, and to ensure all women are seen as full citizens who can claim the same rights, services, and protections as men.
Women Make History: A March Through the Archives was on view March 2015 to September 2015 at our on-site gallery space at 31 Chambers Street.
Women Make History uncovers the real efforts that led to change in New York City. We hope to spark conversations and inspire action on the work that must continue.
